What I {Wish I} Wore Wednesday: Art to Inspiration

Happy Wednesday!  After today, the weekend is in sight, my dears, so just push on through!  Today's What I {Wish I} Wore Wednesday is a little bit different, since I'm participating in a project with Supal {Sups for short!} from Chevrons and Éclairs!  It's called Art to Inspiration and I'll let Supal tell you a little more about her vision behind it:

"A few months back, I put together this post, and got great feedback. I asked everyone where they got their daily color inspiration from, and I came to realize, paintings and other forms of art are the greatest source of inspiration."

And from that, Art to Inspiration was born!  So every first Wednesday of the month, those participating, will   use the piece of art that Supal selects to be inspired for that days post.  Since Wednesdays are our fashion days over here on Mimi Nicole, I'll be sharing a fun, bright outfit that was inspired by this colourful piece of art:

Title : December 2010 - 4
Name of Artist : Hiroshi Matsumoto
                      URL :

My inspired outfit!

Getting you in the mood for Spring?  I'd wear this out to brunch or for a quick trip to the office on an off-day. What do you think, chickadees?  Anyone else out there inspired by art?  What else inspires your clothing/decorating/wedding?

If you're interested in getting involved in this fun project, pop on over to Sups' page and let her know you'd like to be included in the monthly email!:)

Hope you all have a fab Wednesday!
