So how many of you, chickadees, are scrambling to find that perfect outfit for the upcoming lovey-dovey holiday??? Even though we're staying in that night, it's still fun to dress up and I've been thinking how much I
need a new dress for the occasion! But HH keeps reminding me that what we really
need are tickets out to visit my family and friends in the US--hate it when he's right! So, imagine how happy I was when I found
this video by my dear friend,
Hilary Rushford the founder of
Dean Street Society and stylist extraordinaire! In it, she talks about how shopping for holiday clothes can be such a waste because you may end up with a gorgeous dress, but the chances of you wearing it again are few. So, she suggests either adding in a fun accessory that livens up your outfit for the day/night OR investing in a piece that you can see yourself wearing at least twice in the coming year. Such great tips! So, here are a few cutesy accessories for Valentine's Day that are sure to dress up any LBD and a couple investment pieces that I would definitely be wearing all year {seriously, how amazing is that handbag???}
