Hi there, Lovelies! I'm Jillian Nicole and I'm just pleased as punch to meet you all! I'm a Southern California native who fell in love with a Brit, and is now trying to navigate her way through the ex-pat life in Scotland! Weddings make my little heart go pitter-patter, I've never met a dessert I didn't like, and I think my husband is definitely the most handsome man God ever created!:) If you're inspired by gorgeously styled events, if peonies make you go weak in the knees, and if you love to have a good gush over all things pretty, then we're sure to be fast friends!

Who is Mimi Nicole?  Well, Mimi is the French word for Grandmother, and it has been my experience that only the chicest, most sophisticated grandmothers are bestowed the honour of being a Mimi. And the loveliest one of all? That would be my own Mimi! With a closet full of Oscar de la Renta, and a knack for hosting incredibly gorgeous soirées, she is as sophisticated and chic as they come!

Nicole is my middle name, and while you often hear   of men passing on their names to children, you very rarely hear of women doing the same. And since this darling, little blog is my baby, I thought I'd change the rules a bit!
